The University of Michigan Athletic Academic Awards Banquet was held on March 26th and it was an honor to be able to speak to the audience about our organization and present the 2nd annual Ed and Leann Mott Warrior Award to Dan Madwed.  It is so difficult to choose one winner from all the great student-athletes that have given so much time to the group but we were pleased to present the award to Dan for his dedication over the years.

We also took the opportunity to update the Michigan Athletic Department about our plans for the upcoming year including our Michigan from the Heart I-pad project. With these I-pads we provide for Mott Hospital patients they can enjoy Skype and face time with friends and
relatives who cannot visit, see customized cartoon videos of procedures they will be experiencing and also find hidden holographic fairy doors throughout the hospital.  More projects are in the works.

Keep watching, as we will be updating information on our 16th annual Michigan From the Heart golf outing on June 16th at the University of Michigan golf course that enables us to make this all happen. Special thanks to Shari Acho and her M-PACT group for hosting a wonderful evening at the University of Michigan Athletic Academic Awards Banquet!
